Google today wrote in a blog post that it is bringing a Snapchat like feature, Stories.
As part of the AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) Project, Google Search will provide content publishers with a mobile focused format for delivering news and information as visually rich, tap-through stories. Still confused? Watch the video below.
Google says,
AMP stories aim to make the production of stories as easy as possible from a technical perspective. The format comes with preset but flexible layout templates, standardized UI controls, and components for sharing and adding follow-on content.
Google has partnered with leading media publishers like, CNN, The Washington Post, Vox Media and others.
Stories is currently under testing with a small set of users hoping to go full board in the near future.
